in 9th grade we were taught about landfills they told us that landfills are made to dispose off waste in a sanitary manner you dig deep into a perfectly plain ground
put waste in till it fills up to the surface
and then consequently covering it with 7 inches of mud
those 7 inches prevented everything discarded to ever come out in the open again hiding the filth inside of it
