SURVIVAL

a way out
everything she does is an escape
to escape living in her head; the scariest place
a space which makes her want to stop; an end
every action she takes, every movement of her limbs escaping, escape, escaped
Reaching out
like a ship dropping its anchor
only to realise there is no rock bottom
out in an endless spiral
drowning,drown,drowned
in the monotone of everyday
when the morning sunshine starts feeling like blaring headlights the chirping birds like horns in a traffic jam
she begins to wonder
is there even a way out?
barely
surviving,survive,survived.
